Business programme released for Caucasus Investment Forum 2026

The Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF), which is scheduled to take place on 28–30 April 2026 at the MinvodyEXPO Multifunctional Exhibition Centre, has released the full business programme for the event on its official website. The CIF is one of the country’s top business events that aims to unlock the investment potential of the region’s territories and expand economic cooperation. The main theme of the Forum is ‘Expanding the Horizons of Opportunity’. The Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and the Stavropol Territory Government.

The business programme for the CIF 2026 encompasses a wide range of issues related to the region’s socioeconomic development. The sessions will be moderated by representatives of key federal and regional government bodies, the business community, and the expert community, who will present the latest analytical data. The Forum’s agenda features thematic sessions, business discussions, as well as practical and industry-specific tracks designed to generate solutions and identify new paths for growth.

“The Caucasus Investment Forum systematically creates conditions to fully unleash the regions’ potential. The business programme reflects key focuses for economic development and aims to boost investment activity, expand cooperative ties, and foster sustainable business initiatives,” Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said.

The programme is structured around thematic blocks that focus on investment and finance, industry and agribusiness, international cooperation and human capital development, tourism and the hospitality industry, digitalization and technological leadership, and trade and entrepreneurship. Particular attention will also be paid to transport and energy infrastructure, the creative industries, healthcare, and the cultural agenda.

“The Forum’s business programme is structured to take into account key socioeconomic development priorities and aims to establish practical mechanisms for cooperation among the government, business sector, and expert community. At the two previous forums, more than 230 cooperation agreements valued at over RUB 460 billion were signed (https://amp.rbc.ru/regional/kavkaz/interview/30/03/2026/69c931569a79470839043663). These agreements have morphed into concrete projects: residential and hotel complexes, tourism facilities, logistics hubs, and wind and hydropower facilities. The cross-sectoral nature of the discussions is of particular significance, since it allows for factoring in regional specificities and coming up with comprehensive solutions. In this regard, the Caucasus Investment Forum is an ideal platform for effective dialogue,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the CIF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

A major highlight of this year’s programme will be the session ‘Dialogue with the Governor: Focus on the Caucasus’, at which representatives from the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District will outline their development priorities and key focuses of their investment policy. During these sessions, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions that are relevant to the current agenda. The format of the events is designed to foster a dialogue that can generate practical solutions.

“The Forum’s programme is centred around pressing themes that are currently shaping the development of the regional economy, ranging from investment and infrastructure to human resources and technology. It is crucial that discussions on these issues involve the active participation of both the regional authorities and the business community. This approach allows us to not only address conceptual frameworks, but also practical solutions that can be implemented at the local level,” Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov said.

The CIF business programme provides a comprehensive platform for discussing key regional development issues, establishing professional connections, and formulating solutions that aim to strengthen the economic potential of the North Caucasus and other regions of Russia.

Online registration for media representatives and bloggers wishing to attend the CIF is now open on the event’s website and will remain available until 17 April.
