The Organizing Committee of the Caucasus Investment Forum (CIF) has announced that start of the invitation campaign for the 2026 edition of the Forum, one of the key business events held in the North Caucasus. CIF 2026 will be held under the theme ‘Expanding the Horizons of Opportunities’ and will bring together business leaders, government representatives, members of the expert community, leaders of youth initiatives, and international investors.
The Forum programme is more significant than ever, given that President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has declared 2026 the Year of Peoples’ Unity in Russia. To mark the occasion, CIF 2026 will be complemented by a large-scale cultural project called the ‘Festival of Peoples of the Caucasus’, which will showcase the unique diversity of traditions, art, and cultures of the Greater Caucasus and southern Russia.
The CIF 2026 business programme will focus on comprehensive support for entrepreneurship, the development of international investment projects, the growing role of creative industries in the economy, and unlocking the transport potential of the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts. The programme will be divided into themed days, each highlighting current development trends for the regions.
The Caucasus Investment Forum 2026 will be the first to feature investment shows – special presentations by regions of promising projects to Russian and foreign investors. Creative presentations that respect the traditions, characteristics, and strategic priorities of the regions will serve as the best showcase of the investment and long-term cooperation opportunities that will be available at CIF 2026.
Another event that will take place at the Forum is Entrepreneurs’ Day, which will feature a special practical programme for representatives of SMEs that aims to support start-ups and existing businesses. Attendees will discuss key issues of SME development and take part in events that reflect the state of affairs in four key industries: the creative economy, the agro-industrial complex, tourism and hospitality, and e-commerce.
Another day of the programme will be given over to youth affairs – a platform for university students, schoolchildren, and young professionals interested in entrepreneurship and career advancement. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their initiatives, pick the brains of business and government representatives, and gain practical knowledge and the skills necessary to launch their own projects.
