Fund RC-Investments Presents Russian Regional Investment Projects at Expo 2020

The Roscongress Foundation’s investment programme Fund RC-Investments presented their digital platform Investinregions.ru at Expo 2020. The project is a joint effort with the Roscongress Foundation and is made possible with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

The platform is a unique digital space that brings together investors and project creators from all across Russia. The presentation will discuss the main functions of the portal, advantages for investors, and the Roscongress Foundation’s services for supporting foreign investment in Russia.

In March 2021, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Roscongress Foundation, and Fund RC-Investments signed a cooperation agreement on developing joint initiatives, including the joint development of the digital projects Smarteka and the Investinregions.ru Investment Platform of Russian Regions.

«The primary goal of Fund RC-Investments is attracting investment to prospective Russian regions and promoting domestic exports. The platform is a centralized database of investment projects in Russia’s regions; a convenient tool for investors and entrepreneurs. The portal has published information about a total of over 1.5 trillion roubles’ worth of investment projects since its launch,» said Fund RC-Investments CEO Alexander Shatirov.

Fund RC-Investments represents the Russian Federation in the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA). The Association was established in 1995 and currently includes 252 investment agencies from 162 countries.
