German Delegation Plans to Attend SPIEF 2022

Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev and Knorr-Bremse Chairman of the Supervisory Board and Professor Klaus Mangold met to discuss the participation of German representatives in the Roscongress Foundation’s key business events, including the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, as well as holding joint international events.

«The Russia—Germany roundtable is traditionally one of the most productive, exciting, and eventful dialogues on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The mutual interest that the business communities of both countries have is confirmed by the high-ranking participation in join events. This year, in the run-up to the SPIEF, a business roundtable in Munich is planned with the participation of business representatives from both countries. The meeting is tentatively scheduled for 12 May,» Stuglev said.

Mangold Consulting GmbH will be involved in shaping the programme for the Russian-German agenda at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and will organize a presentation of Russian investment projects for German businessmen together with Fund RC-Investments, the investment platform of the Roscongress Foundation.

The parties noted there is mutual interest in further developing investment projects, including in Russia’s regions, and that Mangold Consulting GmbH might participate in the Russian regions’ investment portal — investinregions.ru. The project is being implemented by Fund RC-Investments together with the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

«Today, there is great potential for investment by both Russian and foreign companies concentrated in infrastructure projects in Russia’s regions. Domestic tourism is one of the fastest growing industries that is showing high growth potential. Building infrastructure for auto tourism is another potentially interesting area for investment and the implementation of joint projects,» Mangold said.

Stuglev invited German businessmen, including camper manufacturers, to take part in the second Russian Tourism Forum ‘Travel!’, which will take place on 4–7 August 2022 at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VDNKh) as well as the F.I.C.C. INTERNATIONAL RALLY 2022, which will be held in Moscow from 29 July to 7 August 2022.
