Programme architecture published for Caucasus Investment Forum 2026 Young Entrepreneurs Day

The programme for the 2026 Caucasus Investment Forum’s Young Entrepreneurs Day, scheduled to take place at the MinvodyEXPO multipurpose exhibition centre on 28 April, is now available. The event will give young entrepreneurs an opportunity to meet with government officials and members of development institutions and the expert community. The Caucasus Investment Forum is being organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

An important component of the CIF 2026 business programme, Young Entrepreneurs Day will seek to encourage more young people to get involved in entrepreneurship and provide promising initiatives, start-ups, and small and medium-sized enterprises access to essential support. The day has been designed to reflect the stages of entrepreneurship, from the birth of an idea to its practical implementation and scaling up.

“One of our business development priorities is the creation of a comprehensive support system for young entrepreneurs. Young Entrepreneurs Day has been designed to help young people realize their full potential, engage in entrepreneurial activities, and develop sustainable business models,” Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak said.

Besides a plenary session, Young Entrepreneurs Day will host a number of business sessions dedicated to the future of the economy, innovative development, digitalization, tourism, and energy, with experts sharing their knowledge of important trends and promising areas of development and participants gaining new insight into the unique possibilities that await in the local economy.

“Young Entrepreneurs Day will centre around practical, hands-on opportunities for participants to apply their newly acquired knowledge to their own projects. The chance to interact with experts and members of the business community will build practical skills and foster an entrepreneurial mindset,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the CIF 2026 Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

Interactive sessions scheduled as part of the youth programme will include the North Caucasus Federal District Laboratories of the Future, where participants will work on practical assignments, followed by a start-up competition looking for promising entrepreneurial initiatives to support. An interactive Entrepreneur’s Journey event will give small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers. Finally, the day will wrap up with the Young Entrepreneurs of the Caucasus: Investing in the Future award ceremony.

“It is so important that we give young people the chance to apply what they’ve learned right away. And the participants of CIF’s Young Entrepreneurs Day will get that chance, from the birth of their new idea to developing their own project with feedback from the experts, who will make sure they understand how to move forward. The format chosen here is perfect for developing business projects, immediately understanding how realistic the chances of success are, and finding potential investors and those who would benefit from their implementation,” Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov said.

Young Entrepreneurs Day will provide the opportunity to share experience, establish new business contacts, and discuss the issues currently facing the development of entrepreneurship. The programme of events seeks to create the conditions necessary to engage young people in economic activity and develop new opportunities for growth.
