Roscongress International Cooperation Area at SPIEF 2026: A Key Platform for International Dialogue at Russia’s Leading Economic Forum

The Roscongress International Cooperation Area will once again be in operation at the 29th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (3–6 June 2026). The Cooperation Area is a unified communications space for dialogue between representatives of the government, public institutions, business circles, and expert communities from Russia and abroad, as well as international organizations and integration associations. It was established in response to demand for a specialized negotiation and thematic platform from the international business community and foreign participants at Roscongress Foundation events. Its primary infrastructure includes partner stands, a presentation hall, private meeting rooms, a lounge area for informal meetings, and, most importantly, comprehensive support services for international business communications.

This format was launched with great success in 2025 at the SPIEF and Eastern Economic Forum. The opening ceremony of the Roscongress International Cooperation Area at the SPIEF 2025 was attended by South African Deputy President Paul Mashatile, Saudi Arabian Assistant Minister of Investment Ibrahim Almubarak, Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev, Director of the Africa Partnership Department at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Tatyana Dovgalenko, ASEAN Business Advisory Council Chairman Nazir Razak, and Chairman of the Russia–Belarus Bilateral Committee of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) Didit Ratam, which confirms the lofty international status and relevance of this platform. In 2025, the partners of the Roscongress International Cooperation Area included South Africa with its national stand, the Conoscere Eurasia Association, the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, the Russia–ASEAN Business Council, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Investment under the INVEST SAUDI investment brand, Promselkhozbank, KADIN, the TV BRICS international media network, the Russian-Thai Business Council, and the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia together with the innovative brand Passion.

“The successful launch and results of the Roscongress International Cooperation Area in 2025 have demonstrated its strategic importance as a unique platform for international dialogue. We have not simply created a communications platform, but a full-fledged ecosystem where international businesses can address specific challenges: present their capabilities, hold negotiations, and agree on joint projects. The participation of partners from leading global economies such as China, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Indonesia, and ASEAN countries demonstrates the importance of this format for building trust-based relationships,” Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev said.

Becoming a partner of the Roscongress International Cooperation Area at the SPIEF 2026 will provide companies with access to a comfortable ecosystem, including ready-made solutions for organizing partner stands, priority access to meeting rooms, and the opportunity to host their own events in the presentation hall. This year, the Roscongress International Cooperation Area at the SPIEF will offer special formats, including the organization of individual business missions, information, analytical, and logistical support, and numerous other partnership opportunities upon individual request.

This platform serves as a single point of attraction for foreign delegations, both official and business. We handle infrastructure and organizational support, thereby allowing partners to fully focus on the substantive agenda: holding negotiations and exploring specific areas of cooperation with Russian participants at our forums. Developing and scaling up this model is one of our top priorities in preparing for the SPIEF 2026 and supporting the participation of foreign delegations,” said Roscongress Foundation Deputy CEO and Director of the International and Regional Cooperation Directorate Alexandra Ogneva, who is in charge of the Roscongress International Cooperation Area project.

The Roscongress International Cooperation Area is one of the key projects of the Roscongress Foundation’s Roscongress International Platform. It brings together 239 partners from 90 countries and provides a full cycle of support for business initiatives – from expert analysis to the practical implementation of projects involving trade, economic, cultural, and humanitarian cooperation, and their promotion at conventions and exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
