The first International Transport and Logistics Forum will take place in St. Petersburg on 1–3 April. The event will bring together representatives of government, business, and international partners for open, constructive dialogue and the development of practical solutions in the interests of advancing the transport sector in Russia and across Eurasia.

Plenary session entitled “Eurasian Transport Corridors: Integration and Seamless Logistics” will open the business programme. Participants will discuss the development of Eurasian corridors in the context of national integration and the creation of mechanisms for seamless logistics. A key issue of this track will be the synchronization of national development plans among participating countries to build a unified transport infrastructure, eliminate duplication of investment, and optimize transit routes.

“Russia is ready to offer its partners not only safe and predictable transport regimes, but also unique engineering and construction expertise, proven by many years of experience in building infrastructure under complex natural and climatic conditions, as well as cooperation based on trust and continuous dialogue,” said Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Nikitin.

The session will be attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Andrey Nikitin, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, as well as ministers of transport and communications from partner countries across the Eurasian region.

Amid the transformation of the global order and the acceleration of economic and technological cycles, international transport corridors are becoming not just logistical routes, but key instruments for ensuring predictability, security, and economic connectivity between countries. There is a growing trend of logistics evolving from an economic function into a tool of strategic influence and the formation of spheres of influence.

Further discussions at the Forum will address issues related to maximizing the efficiency of international transport corridors, seamless logistics, and mutually beneficial integration. These include sessions on strengthening transport and logistics connectivity within the Greater Eurasian Partnership, the development of a digital Eurasian transport corridor aimed at synchronizing transit flows between the CIS and China through a unified digital space, and a panel session of the CIS Coordination Transport Council on the development of international logistics and transport corridors in the CIS and the broader Eurasian region. A meeting of heads of transport control authorities of the Eurasian Economic Union member states will also be held, focusing on harmonizing supervisory procedures, data exchange, and unified safety standards to ensure seamless transit.

The Forum is being held in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation aimed at ensuring the global competitiveness of Russia’s transport corridors, including the implementation of national development goals through 2030 and with a longer-term outlook to 2036.

The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation is the organizer of the Forum, while the Roscongress Foundation serves as the operator with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation.
